In-line with the rest of the watch and jewellery repair industry, Repairs by post provide an honest, transparent watch repair service — Repairs by Post give a written estimate for the costs of your watch repair.

We do this for the following reasons:

1. We do not tamper with your watch until we have your approval; the estimate gives us the legal authority required to do so.
2. When we open your watch, we may find other factors, issues that need addressing — Estimates give us the flexibility to bring this to your attention.
3. To provide you with a written assessment of the problems with your watch — and what costs we anticipate to fix those issues..

But, with all that now said, here's the reality...

Generally for most customers, the price we estimate is the price we invoice, and the price they pay. If that were not the case, we would not have a 4.8/5 rating from 939 Google reviews.

But, from time to time, our watch technicians uncover further issues that need, or optionally require, addressing. Because of those few cases, we have to cover ourselves by issuing an estimate before we commence any repair.
